Refunds and Exchanges

There may be times when you will need to exchange an item purchased from us. Our Exchange Policy is designed to assist you with your exchange.  Please note that we do NOT give refunds, but we do exchanges. The benefits given by our Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), as well as any other applicable acts.

All of our items are individually checked before shipment to ensure there are no manufacturing defects. However, sometimes we may miss something. If your item(s) are defective they may be returned within 7 days of your order being delivered. A “Defective Product” is one which contains a material imperfection in the manufacture or design that renders the product less acceptable, useful or safe than reasonably expected, under the circumstances. If this is the case, we will gladly arrange collection via courier and send you a replacement at no cost to you.

Online Exchanges

If you wish to exchange any item(s) you have purchased, you can return the item(s) via courier to our online store – all returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by nichA Clothing.

Exchanges can only be made for the same value of the purchase price of the item being exchanged.

Please send us an email to info@nichaclothing.com and we will gladly arrange collection via courier and send you a store voucher or exchange the item to the same value, but the courier costs will be for your own expense of R90 each way.

Returns Policy Conditions

We want to ensure you love the items you purchase. If you have changed your mind on a purchase, we will exchange your item provided that:

·     All returns must be logged within 7 days of your order being delivered

·     You produce your original invoice (receipt) when you return the item 

·     The item is in original sale-able condition

·     With all original tags and any sewn labels still attached

·     In an unworn, unopened and unused state

·     In original packaging

Custom Made Products:                                          

* A consultation and measurement session with the designer will be charged at R 250.   This amount will be deducted from the total amount once the order has been placed.          

* 50% Deposit is required before any production will commence.                                   

* A minimum of 2 fittings are required depending on the type of garment.                   

* Cancellation / rescheduling of appointments should be arranged by no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.  Failure of which will result in an additional R250 rescheduling fee being added to the garment price.                                               

* Fittings that require specific underwear and/or shoes will be communicated prior to the fitting.       Should these items not be brought along, no responsibility will be taken for incorrect alterations made as a result of this and additional alterations/fittings would have to be charged for accordingly.                                                                                           

* Once the design has been accepted and the garment has been cut, only fitting alterations will be done to ensure a perfect fit for the client’s figure. Any style alterations that are required after the cutting stage will be charge for accordingly and added to the garments price.                                                                                    

* Delivery is aimed at a week prior to required date, provided no change due to weight loss / style changes are required or if alternative arrangements were made by the designer.                                                                                           

* In the event of a cancellation of the order before production nichA Clothing will partially reimburse the deposit, after deducting consultation and design fees as well as any amount spent on fabric or supplies.                                                                             

* In the event of a cancellation of the order after production has started the client will not be reimbursed the deposit paid and will be held responsible for any additional cost.                                              

* 3 or more photographs must be sent to nichA Clothing showing of the final garment, which may be used on our social media platforms                                                                                                                           

Rental Dresses:                                                  

To avoid disappointment, we advise that you book the required garment(s) at least 10 days prior to your event                                                                                               

* When selecting the 2 – way courier option the garment will be shipped to you 4 days prior to your event and must be returned to us within 2 days after your event. We will book this collection on your behalf.                                                                                        

* When selecting the collection option (Parkhurst, JHB) the garment may be collected 2 days prior to your event and must be returned to us within 2 days after your event.                                                                                                                                                          

The refundable deposit is required to cover any damages that might occur during the rental period.                                                                        

To reclaim your deposit:                                                                                         

* The item(s) must be returned before or on the agreed upon date                                

* Once we receive the item(s) we do a full check to make sure that the garment is in the same condition as when it was sent out.                                                                        

* Any damage will be assessed and you will be notified of any penalties                       

* If you received the dress on a hanger and in a dress bag, please return in the same manner.

*** Please note! You do NOT have to wash / dry clean any of our items upon returning it. If you do decide to dry clean / wash any of our items and something goes wrong or if any damage / discoloration etc. occurs, you will be held responsible.
